This hasn't been the only kidnapping story we've heard about lately. The really sad part is, the culprits are usually the victim's own relatives. They're the ones who tell the pros (kidnappers) who they should abduct. While mulling over this very depressing fact, a question popped up in my tired old noggin' "Aren't you glad that we're the poor relatives? None of our much richer relatives would make a profit off of us?" I asked my sis. Finally. Something good about being the poor relative.

The lighter side of being the poor relative
My sister told me that the sister of an old high school classmate of hers got kidnapped a while back. We don't know how much was paid to get her safely returned but we're sure it was in the millions (their family has a few big business, including a factory, I think).
