Just Desserts

I had lunch out with a couple of friends today and we stopped by Kozui for dessert. Kozui is a little cafe that's one of my favorite places along Tomas Morato in Quezon City. It specializes in green tea-infused cuisine and drinks. I'd be there more often if I could afford it and if it was a teeny bit closer to the office.
Anyway, I had the Double Taro Anmitsu, a Japanese-inspired dessert concocted from sticky taro balls, red bean paste, shaved ice, gelatin cubes, and other ingredients topped by homemade green tea ice cream. It's a yummy concoction, even if you have a pesky cough like I do today. It's a great way to chat away the hours with friends on a hot day like this.
